Sensitive skin often feels tight, uncomfortable and may become inflamed and irritated easily. Typically, sensitive skin is prone to redness and your skin’s natural protective function may be impaired. For this reason it is important to take a gentle approach when cleansing and exfoliating.

Morning and Night
Apply AHA Cream Cleanser generously to the face and neck morning and evening. Massage for 1 – 2 minutes, add a little luke-warm water to emulsify. Rinse with luke-warm water and remove residual cleanser with Aesthetics Rx Micro Fibre Face pads for comfort and protection of delicate skin.
Apply the size of a pea of the Daily Moisturiser – Hydrating to your fingertips, warm in the palms and press onto your face. Smooth the product over face. May be used morning and evening
Weekly
Cleanse the skin with AHA Cream Cleanser, then only a 1 -2 x weekly basis exfoliate with Bio-Fermented Triple Action Scrub. Apply the size of a pea to your fingertips, add a little water and warm in the palms. Smooth over your face, avoiding the eye area. For sensitive skin, leave the product to work for a few minutes without needing to massage at all before gently removing with luke-warm water and Microfibre face Pads. If the skin is less sensitive massage the scrub gently over the face for a couple of minutes and then remove. Complete treatment with Daily Moisturiser – Hydrating.

AHA Fruit Blend

Tasman Pepper

By inhibiting transient receptor potential channels (TRPV), Tasman Pepper, decreases inflammatory markers. Reduces irritation, itching and burning sensations and reduces the appearance of skin redness. Mandelic acid
With the largest molecular size of all the Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA’s), Mandelic acid strictly works on the surface and is very suited to skin that may not ordinarily tolerate the use of chemical exfoliants.
Lactic acid
With the next largest molecular size compared to other types of AHA’s Lactic acid is used in this product to hydrate and exfoliate the surface layers of the epidermis. In the form of Sodium lactate, Lactic acid is present naturally in the body and is part of the skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF). For that reason, this AHA is an extremely effective moisturiser as well as contributing to cell renewal function with surface exfoliating benefits. It is widely reported to be well tolerated by most skin types. Lactic acid and Lactic acid probiotic bacteria are found both in the gut and in the skin. Probiotic bacteria are helpful in balancing the immune system and has an anti-inflammatory benefit to the skin.
Glycolic acid
With a smaller molecular weight Glycolic acid works deeper in the epidermis as a natural humectant (moisture binding) as well as a highly efficacious exfoliant.
Fermented Paw Paw
This proteolytic enzyme works to gently breakdown and digest the protein (keratin) in the dry, flattened out keratinocytes of the stratum cornuem, where they can then be exfoliated off the surface of the skin to reveal a brighter, glowing complexion. It is also has powerful antioxidant benefits that help prevent damaging, prematurely ageing oxidative stress.
