As consumers demand safer, more natural ingredients, Aesthetics Rx® use many biotechnology ingredients to create ‘clean’ products that are effective and environmentally friendly.
Biotechnology is the use of living organisms or their products to modify or make products for human use. In skin care, this can include using enzymes to break down dead skin cells, and plant stem cells to create a variety of product types.
Biotech ingredients are made in a lab by scientists using living, naturally derived substances to recreate or produce ingredients similar raw extracts. This way, the land, water and resources typically required in farming are significantly reduced to almost zero.
