How to Care for Sensitive Skin

Ensure you are using a gentle, SLS free cleanser designed for sensitive skin and don’t over-cleanse. External factors such as wind, UV rays, medication and your diet could be triggering factors for sensitive skin along with stress or allergies to name a few. Along with avoiding these triggers, it is essential to use skincare products including active ingredients to strengthen the skin’s barrier and keep the skin moist whilst having a calming effect.

 

Your Regular Skincare Regime

Step1. Cleanse morning and night using our Revitalising Foaming Cleanser. A gentle SLS free facial wash formulated for sensitive skin to remove impurities without irritation or discomfort. Also contains Aloe Vera Juice to soothe and hydrate.

 

Step 2. Follow with a serum packed with anti-oxidants. Our serums contain Hyaluronic Acid, which restores skin moisture and helps to avoid epidermal thinning therefore encouraging strengthening of the skin’s barrier. Niacinamide is an essential vitamin with anti-irritant benefits and has been shown to decrease redness and blotchiness associated with sensitive skin. We recommend our B Serum Hydrate and Volumise for maximum hydration to reduce inflammation and redness.

 

Step 3. Use a hydrating moisturiser daily with UVA and UVB properties to help protect skin from the sun. Our Daily Moisturiser Hydrating is a light moisturising lotion with strong antioxidants to protect and nourish dry skin and has a calming effect.

 

Step 4. Exceptionally dry, irritated and sensitive skin requires additional care to hydrate, recover and renew the skin’s barrier function. Our H20 Hydrating Balm is specifically formulated to treat severely dry and sensitive skin and improve the overall hydration of the skin. The balm forms a protective barrier on the skin allowing it to heal and regenerate. It relieves the skin from itching and helps lock in moisture longer than normal moisturisers to effectively protect, heal and regenerate your sensitive skin.
