We went back to the fundamentals of lip biology and built our new formula around two new technologies designed to support lips where they lose moisture the most.
#1 Hyaluronic Acid Ultra Filling Spheres
We’ve gone beyond the typical hyaluronic acid approach that offers quick plumping, but little staying power.
Lip Rx uses next-generation hyaluronic acid ultra filling spheres. This is a fourth-generation delivery system using microspheres that combine low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with konjac glucomannan, a plant-derived polysaccharide known for its ability to bind and retain water in a controlled way.
Within the formula, the spheres remain stable until application. Once on the lips, they begin to interact with the skin’s natural moisture dynamics. As trans epidermal water loss (TEWL) naturally occurs, the microspheres bind available water within the upper layers of the lip tissue, gradually expanding and helping lips appear smoother, softer, more cushioned and naturally fuller.
Conventional hyaluronic acid tends to draw moisture to itself immediately on application, whether from the skin or the surrounding atmosphere. On lips, where moisture is limited and easily lost, this can mean the plumping effect is short-lived.
By contrast, the ultra-filling spheres are designed to work with the lips’ natural moisture fluctuations. Rather than reacting immediately on application, they expand progressively as water becomes available, supporting a more sustained conditioning effect that feels natural, comfortable and lightweight.

#2 New-Generation Ceramides
Healthy lips rely on a resilient lipid barrier to retain moisture, maintain comfort and protect against environmental stress. Over time, and with ongoing environmental exposure, ceramide levels can decline, leaving lips more prone to dryness, fine lines and sensitivity.
Lip Rx features a carefully selected combination of three ceramides. Ceramide NP, AP and EOP. These are the same types of ceramides found naturally in healthy skin, each playing a slightly different role in supporting hydration, barrier strength and comfort.
